Wedding dresses are meant to be fitted to your body, so stylists take your bust, waist, and hip measurements and use the specific designer’s size chart—not the number in your jeans.
That can mean ordering a size 14 when you normally wear a 10, because bridal sizing tends to run differently and every designer/brand has their own chart. We order for the measurement that needs the most room, then alter the gown to make it fit you beautifully.[maggiesottero +2]
