introducing coozies for a cause, my first tiny step toward growing lone lily toward becoming a nonprofit 🌱
for those who don’t know, I started sewing in 2019 after my mom passed away, upcycling fabrics she left to me
I wanted to wear pieces that made me feel like she was close to me, and channeled my grief into this craft
I started lone lily reworks in college while studying sustainability and got an unexpected amount of support from my community!
Since I’ve graduated in 2025 I’ve been dedicated to building a clothing brand focused on repurposing what already exists
With dreams of becoming a nonprofit to help families facing cancer, since I’ve experienced much of the same hardship growing up
Being any sort of small business owner these days is not easy trying to compete with fast-paced, low cost competition of big companies
My mom taught me that you never have too little to help someone else 🩷 so I am giving back to For Pete’s Sake For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation with 50% of sales of my handmade coozies on lonelilyreworks.com ✨🦋
