Twisting does not always mean a pointe shoe is too narrow. 🩰

This dancer came in wearing the Nikolay Proflex and struggling with instability, twisting, and difficulty getting fully supported in the shoe.

The width in her refit stayed the same — but the shape changed completely.

By moving to the R-Class AD19 Astra Adaptiv with a shallower crown and more square shape, she is now fully supported inside the shoe instead of twisting around it.

Beautiful feet deserve beautiful support ✨🩰

This dancer had alignment issues and sinking pressure pain in her old Capezio Ava pointe shoes. While there is no “best” pointe shoe, there is a better match for your individual foot shape and support needs at the right time in your training.

Pain in pointe shoes is often a sign that something in the fit is working against your anatomy — not that you simply need to “push through.” 👀🩰

This dancer came to us wearing the R-Class RC90 Enchante fit in another store but was struggling with big toe pain and difficulty getting fully over her box while also managing the effects of an os trigonum. An os trigonum is an extra bone at the back of the ankle that can become irritated in dancers from repeated pointe work and extreme plantar flexion.

By transitioning her into the R-Class AD69 Soleia, the difference was immediate.

✨ Elongated taper relieved pressure on the big toe
✨ Adaptiv technology helped stabilize and center her weight over the platform
✨ Stretch satin heel reduced digging and irritation at the back of the ankle
✨ Improved alignment helped her get fully over the box with greater ease
