Joyce and Hopper’s first “Dimension X” encounter didn’t happen in 1983, it actually goes all the way back to 1959 😳

According to the theory it all started when Joyce and Hopper were seniors at Hawkins High and a small breach opened inside the school. Something from the Dimension X, known only as Zero (000), pulled Joyce toward the other side, making her the first real target before Henry ever became 001. Hopper managed to save her, and the incident drew the attention of a young Dr. Brenner. Instead of letting the truth spread, the government wiped their memories and erased every trace of what happened. That’s why, according to the theory, they never recognized Henry later and why they walked into the Dimension X in Season 1 with so little fear. Deep down, it wasn’t their first time… just the first time they remembered it.
