In the spotlight: Alexis & Nicole of The Terracotta Room - a boutique featuring plants, candles, home decor, jewelry and clothing in downtown Manchester, NH.

These two women are powerful forces of nature who, together, bring some kick-ass vibes to our community.

As a fellow downtown retail shop, it means the world to us to support them and to shout them out! We love who they are and what they do!

It was so much fun to collaborate with them on this throwback Southwestern movie production photoshoot, showcasing vintage clothing, accessories and textiles from Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures and the gals behind The Terracotta Room.

This is how we at Fishtoes, Kastle of Rhythm & Roots Studio & Diane of Ofishel Designs feel about our customers and clients.

We go above and beyond to ensure that the people who support our small businesses understand how much joy we get by helping better their lives in the ways that we do.

Kastle is an inspiring woman who opened a dance studio that is taking downtown Manchester, NH, by storm with performances, events and workshops.

Diane is a true artist that has been a tailor in the area for decades and creates one-of-a-kind upcycled / wearable art that you can find at our shop.

Recently, we had the special opportunity to join forces when Kastle found a stunning vintage dress at Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures that was just a bit oversized for her.

Diane proved once again that you can alter almost anything vintage to fit you perfectly and boy oh boy, Kastle's new dress comes alive when she dances (a match made in heaven).

😁 The big reveal!! 😁

It's hard to put into words how thrilling it is to turn our advertising up a notch by utilizing the bus shelter ad spaces at the intersection of Elm & Hanover Street in a creative way to point foot traffic our way, just in time for Spring!

Getting to capture aspiring models, Mackenzie & Olivia, seeing themselves in their first big print ads added to the excitement! They, our photographer, Tom, and our hair & makeup artist for this shoot, Allison, totally helped nail the vision we dreamt up.

It means the world to us that Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures gets to spread joy in the community and add flair to downtown Manchester, NH. Year 2 is already off to a great start and we can't wait to keep leveling up as we go!

The Dark Romance Runway Show at Rhythm & Roots Studio in downtown Manchester, NH was a special night for Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures.

Looks from the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's took the spotlight and acted as a reminder that well-made, intentional fashion can last decades and be enjoyed for years to come.

Come rain or shine...or snow, Jodie Nazaka, Director of City of Manchester, NH Economic Development , goes to work for the city of Manchester and she does it in style!

Jodie's shopped at Fishtoes Vintage + Treasures since our doors opened back in February of 2025 and over the last year, she's helped our small business stay up to date with the goings on downtown, stay connected to our fellow local businesses and stay aware of local business opportunities.

She's been the Director of MEDO (Manchester Economic Development Office) for 4 years and because of her, strategies have been created to foster community economic growth, new businesses have been ushered in, existing businesses have been bolstered and the local workforce has been readied for emerging opportunities through the BBBRC (Build Back Better Regional Challenge) grant.

Jodie played a pivotal role in helping the city receive the BBBRC Award and $44 million in funding from the EDA (Economic Development Administration), a grant that will establish Southern New Hampshire as the global epicenter for the production & distribution of regenerative tissues & organs.

We at Fishtoes know that she and the team at MEDO are working hard everyday to help the success of local businesses and our city as a whole. We're so grateful for everything they've done and are doing for Manchester, NH and our small local business.

⭐ Celebrating 1 year of Fishtoes - Today Feb. 1st ⭐

"The entrepreneur's paradox:

You have to believe in something before it exists.

You have to invest in something before it proves itself.

You have to commit to something before it commits to you.

Most people need proof before they believe.

Entrepreneurs believe so proof exists."

Together, the two of us came up with the idea of Fishtoes, then put our everything into it (80 hours a week with no guarantee) until it manifested into tangible / physical reality for all to enjoy.

We simply couldn't second-guess, falter or worry, so "No" just wasn't in our vocabulary. That's what helped make it destined to be.

Together, we and our customers have breathed life into it. It has a heartbeat and we can't thank the community enough for the support. Thank you all for shopping local and for investing in your local small businesses.

Beautiful Makenzie, who's been a bartender for 5 years at The Shask, became the glue to this collaboration.

"I always smile when I see someone walk in the pub wearing gorgeous threads from Fishtoes. Between both spots there are so many different styles of clothing and genres of music to be enjoyed. Why not do a celebratory photoshoot, showcasing your clothes and our music scene?".

She absolutely killed it, sporting some equally killer vintage pieces straight from our shop.
