Hello. It’s been a while since I’ve posted to our circa page but I’ve come into the possession of a photograph of my beloved grandmother Buffy that I had never before seen!
I love any photos I can find of her.
To anyone still following this account she is the inspiration and soul behind this particular collection and many of my works on my .cotton page.
There are more stories about her eccentric spirit in previous posts.
At first I was a bit disappointed that her face is so blurred here. However now I’m loving the fact that like all photographs it is just a memory, before it is gone. And this one especially gives a fuzzy feeling like a beloved scratched record, warm and glowing with her elegance and natural beauty.
I miss her still deeply.

My darling grandmother, Buffy, the soul and inspiration behind this clothing line. Pictured here with her beloved dogs, living in Manhattan.
Whenever she referred to “my favorite city in the world” we knew that was talking about Manhattan, and she so loved her dogs. She always treated her animals as well as her children, fed home cooked meals at the table every night and given so much love. I miss you Buffy 💔

I’ve received a few messages asking if our Aerialist collar comes in black, and yes indeed it does!
These are handmade using a beautiful weight of open weave 100% linen. The black collar performs the same magic trick of ruffling up and transforming after a machine wash that we demonstrated in our reel a couple of days ago.
