Yeah… that’s cigar resin. And no, it’s not some secret flavor booster from the factory. It’s basically a tar-and-oil cocktail created when you smoke your cigar like you’re trying to set a land-speed record.

When you puff too fast, the heat cranks up, the oils and ni****ne liquefy, and gravity plus suction send that bitter sludge straight toward your lips. Congratulations, you just unlocked the “tar shot” nobody asked for.

Why it happens:
• Smoking like a freight train: Fast, hot puffs cook the oils and push them forward.
• Over-humidified ci**rs: Too much moisture = more gunky buildup.
• Tight draw: If you’re fighting the cigar, you’re pulling that tar right to the head.

How to fix it (before it ruins the vibe):
• Re-cut the cigar: Chop just below the nasty part.
• Slow it down, champ: This isn’t a speed smoking contest.
• Purge it: Gently blow through the cigar while warming the foot to burn off the funk.

Step-by-Step

1. Draw the Smoke: Take a gentle puff into your mouth only.

Do not inhale into your lungs.

2. Close Your Mouth

Keep the smoke inside your mouth.

Let it rest for a second.

3. Gently Push Through the Nose

Slowly exhale the smoke through your nose using your nasal passage or diaphragm.

*Tips for Success

Start Mild: Choose a smoother, creamier cigar to begin.

Partial Exhale: Let 70–80% out of your mouth first, then the rest through your nose.

Try the “Burp” Method: Like holding in a burp…push the air upward into your nasal passage.

Don’t Rush: You don’t have to retrohale every puff.
