After a busy week styling clients, we’re ready for a fresh coast weekend. Come shop our new habitat arrivals before they’re gone. Our cotton stretch wide leg and crop pants are a great alternative to shorts for the summer.

After a busy July Fourth our racks are ready for new arrivals. These color palettes are meant to evoke vivid summer sunsets, and the soft muted tones of sand, stone, and fields.

Think cool fabrics and jackets worn over dresses for cools nights or, as a stay against enthusiastic air conditioning. Our new pieces are great for travel, dinner, adventure and expression.

We have new art in the gallery from John Katerberg Eileen McShane Postma Carol Marshall and Barbara Hoffman. Color, texture, pattern, shine!

Each of these artists represent a specific part of what makes our fresh coast special— from glimmering lake views, to vivid wildlife, quiet contemplative moments, storms and sunsets; Lake Michigan’s coast is one-of-a-kind.

Here’s a list of everything we did on our annual family trip to Mackinac Island.

It was actually sunny enough to sit rooftop on the ferry. We always go the first weekend after school is out in June, during the Lilac Festival and the weather can be cold, rainy, and gray. Lucky us, it was ☀️ for both days!

My son and I absolutely had to try cookies from Mackinac Island Cookie Co. we’ve been following them online all Spring. We love the Mackinac Island life updates and the cookies were delicious.

We checked into our room at the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront . Our room faces the water and overlooked the Pink Pony® Shop + Pink Pony Club™ | Mackinac Island deck. We could hear great live music!

Next up was dinner at The Woods, a tradition we started when Covid restrictions began lifting in 2021. Love seeing the family photos change over five years of eating once a year at the same restaurant.

The next morning we headed to one of my favorite spots, Watercolor Cafe . We got in line early, before they opened, for a chance at a poppy— their famous homemade pastry treat.

After that, we rented bikes and road the eight mile trail around the whole island before we left and said goodbye. We didn’t get any fudge, but I did pick up some delicious carmel corn from Mackinac Island 💕 Ryba’s Fudge Shops before our ferry ride home.
