So I was doing some shop cleaning this week and found some blem boards that I picked up a few years ago. My plan was to cut them up for other projects but a few were still pretty nice. This monster started out as a 45" pintail board but the ends weren't great. I was able to salvage the board while sacrificing the pintail features. I added some Free Soul reverse kingpin trucks that are pretty beginner friendly. If you've ever thought about getting into skating, specifically longboarding, this is a great board to start out! It's blank on the top and bottom so you can paint it or do whatever you'd like. I have some clear grip tape if you need some as well. After everything, it is about 42" now. DM me and make me an offer!!

The guys at Skate Ohio did it again! They took the worn and rusted obstacles from Lexington skatepark and moved them to Maple Lake Park. Before the move, the obstacles were cleaned, painted and refreshed. Finally a few more features were added to make the Bad Magic Skatepark! Check it out if you're in the area!

Over the years I've made quite a few of these boxes for veterans. I made some for friends when they lost their fathers, some for commissions and one for my own grandfather when he passed. I never wanted to make one for a good friend, especially not at this age. Rest easy my friend, I hope I can see you again someday.

Today I had to help our best employee cross the rainbow bridge. I joke around a lot but other than my wife, Sophie was one of the biggest supporters of this hustle. Since I'm a stay at home dad, working on 3rd Life stuff only happens when I'm free and that generally means when the boys are asleep. Every time, Sophie would wait up until I was done or in warmer weather she'd be out with me. Her judgmental looks pushed me to burn the midnight oil on more than one occasion. It'll be a lot harder to get going without my best girl beside me. Thanks for the help, rest easy, Soph.

Some more pics of the couch console table. It blocks my kid's toys from ending up behind the couch, charges devices, and provides a place for the often lost remote. The vents are there because we have a radiator on that wall.
