Slower day today. Plenty of time to plan my next steps and render some OHIO BEEF FAT 🐄

Shout out to Rus-Men Farms Beef, Pork & Chicken!

Rendered Beef Tallow is a super food and has a thousand uses. It is a cornerstone to traditional American cooking 🍳 super easy to make, stores forever in the right conditions, and delicious 😋

The last Lexington Ohio Farmers Market was yesterday. Thank you all for coming out this season and supporting local vendors.

My consistent markets are now finished for the season. But no worries, I am working hard to make sure that you guys will still be able to find me around town. I’ll update everyone as we go 😁

I’m very excited to announce that I have been doing some work for Rus-Men Farms Beef, Pork & Chicken🐓 🐄🐖

REAL OHIO raises beef, pork, and chicken!

I’ll be doing all my 🥩 shopping here from now on. They’ve solved a huge problem for me - access to guaranteed quality, sustainable, and 100% locally raised food.

While you’re checking out their Shop the Farm events, you might need to fill up one of these

This project was fun for both of us. Mendy is very dedicated to local small businesses and she previously sourced these bags from another local sewer who, unfortunately had to move. This first batch started in ohio with her, and was finished in Ohio. A big thank you the Mendy for her conviction to sourcing and staying local! 🇺🇸🐄🐖🐓
