I'm getting so excited for this community art project!! My community and I are making 1000 paper cranes for a wish of peace. I'll be at vintage vino Maple valley sat 8/29 from 10-12.

I also have a porch system where I have collected 60 cranes in the past 24 hours!!

This peace crane art project was born in my brain over Christmas 2025. My dream was to collaborate with the community creating at least 1000 cranes for a collaborative wish of peace.

When I approached our amazing children's librarian/celebrity, Ms. Sharon, she was already looking for me as she had sent a wish out for a community project.

I cannot dream of a better place to combine art and community than our local Maple valley library!

I often think of the book Big Magic, by Elizabeth Gilbert
as often my creative process forces me to look past details, ignore perfection, and see the bigger picture.

🍁 I'm working out the final details for my fall schedule! I fill up fast so please grab a spot! I'm offering day time homeschool classes, weekend classes, adult classes, and select evening. All my classes are unique, creative, and kid driven!

🦷 On the last day of camp I handed them teeth and we got off to work. Each kiddo had a different vision and I helped them with their designs and a few extra skills. They are a talented group!!

This was such a good team of girls!! So supportive, great helpers to me (and each other), and so kind! They made some real interesting creations!! I love them all!! 🦷
