Happy Holidays!!!! I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season. We’ll be at the shop today making more wreathes and swooning over hand built vases. Hi!! I haven’t written a post in a long time. It’s me! Julia :) I’ve been having so much fun creating with you in the new Maplewood studio that I don’t have time to write a post!! BUT today I’m so so so excited to share a bunch of news!
• took my portrait!!! They’re amazing. Thank you Claire!!!
•We signed up to host a collaboration here at Mada! and are going to be doing an installation TOMORROW! Eep! Come by Saturday to see what these creative women have created! Or swing by tomorrow night and watch them in action :) In the meantime...

Tbt. This was me the year I opened Mada, 2014...before I had kids, before I understood a lot of what I understand now. I don’t presume to know anything but one thing: it feels good to create and change is good. In order to survive any kind of challenge, I need to have space to create. I know I’m not alone in this! Which is why after globe trotting Mada all over the place, I am still here, quietly bringing joy to whoever needs a space to create, make, and find joy in using our hands. I’m currently under a few ft of snow and this photo just brought to life how I feel in the spring/summer. SO excited for you, sunshine. In the meantime- make space for yourself to create something. Anything. Have fun 🤍☮️😉👑🌊🪴🤍
