Originally Smith's Grocery until 1992 when Miss Ozell passed away. Buster passed in 1964)

It passed through a handful of owners and different businesses but, eventually was used as a private home. Quickly becoming in disrepair, Tim & Pammie Long purchased it in April 2016 & immediately began restoring it to its' original vision as a Local Owned Store serving any & all who walked through its' door

. The Re-Grandopening occurred in October 2016 as DIXIE COUNTRY STORE with members of the Smith Family along with over 100 others in attendance. We are Open Friday 10-3 Saturdays 9-5.

It's not just the size that makes our Famous Homemade Fried Pies better.

It's not just the fillings we make ourselves.

It's not just the Crust we still roll out by hand one at a time.

It's not just the fact we fry them in Real Lard and Real Butter to give them that Buttery Flavor.

It's not just the fact we putting them on Drying Racks for 24 hours to create the best eating experience. (Who wants greasy pies ?)

It's actually ALL these things that y'all drive from all over to get these and keep coming back.

We truly do appreciate Y'all and hope everyone comes out and tries a Pie or Two 😉

Although we had Sold-out of these this weekend and the Chattanooga Bakery has stopped making them until next season.

We found one supplier who had a case to spare. Only (10) boxes per case so, they won't last long.

We will offer these on a 1st come basis with a limit of (1) Box per Person.

From all over the place, y'all came and Blessed us with your presence.

Several Communities, Cities, Counties, and States.

Y'all gave the Ladies and me a "Run for our Money" and we hope we didn't disappoint.

We can't explain how a lil Old 1939 Country Store would draw folks from Several States and even Foreign Countries but, it has.

The only explanation is we try giving this business to GOD and hoping we give HIM the Glory through our Saviour, JESUS CHRIST.

We want EVERYONE who opens the Ole Screen Door and walks across those Squeaky Floors to know where ALL BLESSINGS Flow.

If you are desiring a place to re-live memories, make new ones, be greeted by people who appreciate you and love to see you find joy in this ole place, we invite Y'all out on:
Fridays 10-3 Saturdays 9-5 (unless we notify differently on our page)

If we aren't going to be open for any reason, we will let y'all know by posting the notice here on our page.
