Our crushed just collaborated with one of our favorite brands since childhood. He just became the new face of DIOR guys. You heard it right. DIOR everyone! Who saw that coming, because we didn’t?
Dior Homme has tapped the pretty mo********er for their new Fall campaign, for which several images were unveiled today. WDD spoke with Rocky about his new affiliation with Dior, and Rocky had this to say about it: "I mean its dope when you can mix it. It’s all about taking two worlds like streetwear and high-end and kind of mashing them together. But when it comes to Dior, it’s just prestige and elegance in my opinion. It’s almost like Coco Chanel was for the lady." (Hot New Hip Hop)
Known for his eclectic and daring fashion sense, A$AP Rocky assumes a more couture guise as one of four faces of the latest Dior Homme campaign. “He’s the muse of the season. The collection kind of grew on him. Through fittings, you are always influenced by the boy you’re working with,” the designer explained. At 20, Roques exemplifies the “young French street attitude, but also chic,” Van Assche said. (WWD) He sure is our muse!
A week after announcing he's releasing a line with J.W. Anderson, the rapper shared the first photos of him modeling for Dior Homme's Autumn/Winter 16 campaign
“I really like his personal style and taste. He’s a real fashion lover,” Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche told WWD after sharing a preview image of A$AP's campaign on Instagram. “He feels like fashion really influences his own work, and he has strong opinions on that.” (USA Today)
