We will be closing our doors on May 31st.
I have always struggled with being the person that knows when it’s time to leave the party. I always want to stay and have a good time and sometimes it takes a minute to realize that the fun just isn’t what it used to be. Like so many other small business owners, I have been in a dead run just trying to keep the business rolling, making sure my team was taken care of, and pumping out orders in an always growing business. Learning to do so with less available inventory, fewer team members, and unexpected increases threw us for some curves to say the least, but we still pulled through and had as much fun as possible while working.
For the last 21 years I am so proud of the business we have run, the relationships we have built, and the lives we effected, all while getting to do what we loved. I have noticed that in this ever changing market, I too have changed. I still enjoy what we do and I am beyond proud of our work, but I am ready for the next adventure. This was a really hard decision and it’s hard to leave something successful behind, but I feel like, “when you know, you know” keeps ringing true for me and while I have no idea what all is ahead, I know I am ready for the change.
To the overwhelming amount of clients that have turned into friends along the way... THANK YOU! You made my dream of becoming a business owner come true and allowed for me to run the best all female owned and operated shop that I had always wanted. I am forever grateful for this wild ride I have been on, and I truly cannot wait to see what else is in store. I have two of the most incredible teammates that I would go to great lengths for, and I hope to help them settle into something that makes them as happy as they can be and find a new passion doing what they love as well. Any company will be lucky to have either Jessica or Mary as a part of their team, and I am happy to vouch for them.
If you have an order already on the books with us, we will be taking care of current orders through the rest of the month and helping to find the right fit for our clients with friends in the industry. I want to thank each and every one of you that ordered from us over the years and I will be happy to refer you to others over the next few weeks and help them to live out their dreams of expanding their business just like I did.
