As the school year wraps up, we are looking back on a great closing workshop with Think Big for Kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County Asbury Park Unit!

Tyler, Michael, Ava, and Sabrena facilitated the final workshop of the semester, beginning with a reflection on the career showcases students participated in throughout the year. Students shared what they remembered, their favorite moments, feedback, and ideas for careers and companies they would like to learn more about in the future.

For the closing activity, students worked in groups to imagine what may be possible in their futures by exploring careers, skills, obstacles, and adaptability. Through the stories of an astronaut, circus clown, superhero, and baker, students thought creatively about the challenges they may face, the skills they may develop, and the lessons they can carry forward.

Students ages 13 and older were also introduced to the new Think Big for Kids mobile app, where they can explore future careers through quizzes and games, earn points and rewards, connect with a mentor, and stay engaged with the Think Big community.

A special week with our Shanghai team. We spent time in the office brainstorming, training, sharing ideas, and learning from one another. One of the highlights of the trip was spending a day with our staff and their families for a spring banquet. After team-building activities in the park, we gathered around the biggest table we had ever seen to enjoy a traditional meal inspired by where Kelly is from.

It was a meaningful time to celebrate, connect, and continue growing stronger as one team.
