A quieter kind of newness is settling into Cove.

The shop is nearly dressed for late summer into autumn, with timeless layers, natural texture and pieces chosen to live beautifully beyond a single season.

This week, two new labels joined the racks too, each rooted in thoughtful materials, slower production and an ease that feels effortless rather than fleeting.

Yesterday brought a new collection of locally made, hand dyed silk wool scarves in the dreamiest autumn shades.

This afternoon, silk fashion arrives.

Soft, fluid, understated. The kind of pieces that almost disappear on the body, then become the ones you reach for again and again.

Something very special is unfolding at Cove this week. A BIG David Aubrey jewelry collection is arriving today alongside NEW Free People , the beloved NOEND barrel jean in a fresh wash, made in Italy knits and a brand NEW organic cotton slow fashion basics line.

The kind of pieces that make the shop feel new again. Collected slowly, chosen carefully, arriving just as the season begins to shift. And there is still more to come.

the racks are beginning to turn — lighter layers giving way to richer texture, softer structure + pieces with a little more permanence.

fall is arriving quietly at cove, alongside seasonless silhouettes designed for the space between now and what comes next.

still, we’re in no hurry to leave August behind. Marquette summer has its own rhythm, and these final weeks of warm evenings, lake days + golden light are some of the most beautiful.

for now, the wardrobe exists somewhere between seasons — grounded in the present, with fall beginning to enter the frame.

I’ve always been drawn to Italian labels.

The truth is, I think it’s always been part of who I am.

My great grandfather, Placido, was born in Palermo, Sicily. Knowing that’s part of my family’s story has always made me feel deeply connected to my Italian roots, and looking back now, I don’t think my admiration for Italian craftsmanship came out of nowhere.

I’ve always been captivated by the effortless silhouettes, the drape of silk, and the way Italian clothing feels both understated and extraordinary. There is a reverence for craftsmanship, natural fibers, and creating garments that are meant to be treasured for years, not seasons.

Carrying Made in Italy collections at Cove feels less like a buying decision and more like honoring something that’s quietly lived in my family for generations.

Every piece is chosen with intention because it reflects what I hope Cove stands for. Thoughtful design. Exceptional quality. Timeless beauty.

These Made in Italy silks are some of my favorite pieces we’ve ever brought into the shop. They feel like a little piece of Italy and, in a way, a little piece of home 🇮🇹

A little piece of wearable poetry by the one and only Jen's Pirate B***y

Designed in LA and brought to life by hand in a tiny workshop in Mexico, each dress is hand dyed in small batches and left to dry beneath the warmth of the sun and fresh air.

The beauty is in the process…each one emerging a little differently, with its own subtle variations and character. No two are quite the same.

Romantic, artful, and made with the kind of intention you can feel when you wear it.

One of my favorite parts of owning this boutique is that it’s always evolving.

Every few days there’s a new color story, a new corner to style, a new collection to fall in love with.
