Tickets are available at all plants and are available to purchase at the UAW hall as well.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our Union Brother Greg "Porky" Oetker. He held the Recording Secretary position as well as being a Unit 11 Shop Committee member at Local 893 over the years before he retired in December. Please keep his wife Mary and his family in your thoughts during this time.

The Veterans Committee has started the newest raffle today. All raffle ticket sales are going towards a Nate Howard Memorial that will be at the UAW Hall. There are 19 prize packages available. Each prize package is valued from $60 up to $600. Raffle tickets are $1 a piece so grab lots! 😀
Thank you to all our business establishments in and around Marshalltown that donated to this raffle. There are some really nice prizes up for grabs. Pictures of all the prize packs are listed below.

Today is the big day! Come see the Easter Bunny, have some ice cream and find some eggs at the Easter egg hunt! Everything starts at 10:00 with the hunt happening around 11:00.

I will be out of the office starting tomorrow (February 26th) and not returning until Tuesday, March 10th. The UAW Hall will have adjusted hours during this time. These hours may change if something does come up.
Thursday & Friday/February 26th & 27th - Regular Office Hours
Monday - March 2nd - 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Tuesday - March 3rd - 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Wednesday - March 4th - 12:30-4:30 p.m.
‼️ Retirees will still have their regularly scheduled meeting/lunch (please enter through the basement). If anyone is needing to pay dues, please pay at the April meeting.
Thursday - March 5th - 8:00-4:00 p.m.
Friday - March 6th - 8:00-4:00 p.m.
Monday - March 9th - 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Any messages left on our answering machine will be returned on the 10th. Any rental requests will be addressed on the 10th as well when I return.

The company has agreed to release the 3 days of vacation that is held for shutdown.
