The Octagon Ladies Repository A "Repository" is a resting place or keeping place for something important enough to be preserved.

Therefore, we are striving to preserve many aspects of a mid 19th century woman's life which would express her styles, occupations, and daily activities. We hope to accomplish this through our adaptations of the period clothing, patterns, accessories, crafts, and needlework.

Our LGAR Yellow Rose Campaign is off to an exciting start! 🌼

Honor your Civil War ancestor with a meaningful tribute on the Gettysburg Battlefield during Remembrance Day Weekend. Through this campaign, a yellow rose will be placed where your ancestor’s unit fought, accompanied by a brief written dedication read aloud and a photograph of the rose placement.
