MIND THE GAP: Between what your clothes are worth to you + what the resale market says they’re worth. The market was never built to honor how much you spent on your clothes. So I built SHARE- where the math will math…in YOUR FAVOR.

On SHARE- you swap, not sell. Nobody lowballs you. Nobody takes a cut. You just move something you love into a closet that will love it back.

And vice versa.

So… what if you just stop playing the game?

Don’t buy into the system. Swap out of it.

This morning, my good friend lead a meditation during opening weekend at the one and only .society , created by another powerhouse, entrepreneur + friend, .kate.shea

It was a rum full of women showing up for themselves, for each other, and for something bigger than productivity or performance, you could feel it.

During the meditation, Nilda said something that hit my heart, “motherhood is community “. The older I get, the more I see motherhood is something far bigger than the way we’ve been taught to define it.

Motherhood is Kerre. It’s presence. It’s protection. It’s women looking out for one another. Holding each other up through hard seasons. Sharing wisdom. Softening life a little for the people around them.

Motherhood lives in friendship. In sisterhood. In community. To me, that is the matriarchy.
Not power over. Not perfection. But women creating spaces to feel seen, supported, safe, encouraged, and loved.

The friend who checks in. The woman who reminds you who you are. The woman who quietly carry others through moments they may never fully understand the weight of.

That kind of care matters. Just as much as a mother‘s love. It shapes people. It changes people.

So today, I’m thinking about the women who have Mothered me throughout my life, simply through the way they’ve shown up.

We all have them. The women who held you together along the way. I know you can name them. Send this to them and let them know that you cherish their existence and love.

Special thanks to Nilda and Sarah for holding space for us so beautifully this this morning. I love you, ladies. 🩷🩷

And of course big love to my babies who made me a Mother. I love you so.

Happy Mother’s Day to all-

Trying to stay focused on my course load but…

One animal needs constant attention. One has completely surrendered to doing absolutely nothing. And I’m over here trying to build SHARE + map out my business strategy in the middle of it all.

You guys all know I’m a team of one + that I’ve had some not so great experiences with business coaching in the past, so…I was honestly a little guarded going into this. HOWEVER…The Feminine Frequency Business School has been a really beautiful experience for me.

It’s stretching me creatively, helping me think bigger, + giving me clarity around the kind of business I know I want to build. Not just financially, but emotionally + energetically too.

There’s something really powerful about being surrounded by women who genuinely care about what they’re building + want to see each other succeed- without ego attached to it.

has built a container that genuinely feels supportive, expansive + rooted in care instead of pressure. That alone has been healing in ways I didn’t expect.

Thank you Jess.✨

So while my house currently looks like a tiny emotional support zoo + my attention span is fighting for its life… The overall mood is REALLY GOOD!

I think that’s why this song felt fitting. Grateful for this season. Grateful for the women in it. And grateful that SHARE keeps finding its way forward, one messy beautiful step at a time.

And per usual, grateful for all of you.

The stars aligned + I got lucky in California.

Went thrifting + snagged this letterman jacket with not only a heart on the sleeve (how I live daily) but my birth year AND “E” for English. It’s also red, which is my favorite neutral color.

I’m one happy girl.

Stop selling your clothes for pennies. Start swapping them for value.

I used to sell pieces I loved for $15 just to get them out of my closet. A blazer I wore to a job interview. A dress that made me feel like myself on a hard day.

They deserve better + so do I.

SHARE is the clothing exchange I wish existed sooner. You swap what you have for something new to you, nothing gets written off, thrown out, or sold short.

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about building a better system….one that actually reflects what you care about. Style that circulates. Value that stays.

Start swapping. Join the SHARE community from the link in bio.

I paid for support + left feeling smaller than I walked in the room.

I was on a call with a Business Coach, someone I am literally paying to guide me, + I opened up about where I’m at + where I’m struggling. The messy beginning of a business I’m trying to grow. The part where I’m building something real + figuring it out as I go.

I was met with lines like “you seem lost, like you don’t know what you’re doing” + “we cant do the work for you, Amelia”. All while NOT offering me suggestions or resolve for my questions.

I won’t lie. I immediately bought into her words. She was the authority, right? I with an unregulated nervous system for days. Questioning everything.

+ then it clicked. Oh hell no. I’m not doing that anymore! I refuse to stand back + let people lead (ME!) from a place of authority rather than caring.

That’s exactly why I’m building SHARE. A system rooted in care + value. A system that actually supports each other through swapping + brining awareness to a system we have been conditioned to accept. A system where caring is your currency.

So, If you’ve ever asked for support + walked away feeling worse, you’re not the problem. Ego is the problem. Don’t buy in to it.

I know I’m not the only one… drop a 🩷 or send to someone who needs the back up!

Keep going!!!

What if your closet funded your next outfit?

You don’t need to feel guilty for spending money on what you wear.

You just need a better way to move it when you’re done.

Sooooo goood.

When Bad Bunny took the Super Bowl stage, it wasn’t just a performance. It was a cultural recalibration. Spanish lyrics. Puerto Rican pride. No translation, no softening, no permission asked.

One of the most watched stages in the world made room for something that has always existed, but hasn’t been center stage.

Progress doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it shows up to The Super Bowl fully formed + says “we belong here”.

She’s not “trying to be sustainable.”
She just refuses to play the game anymore.

The game where status = spending.
Where “new” means “worthy.”
Where caring is optional.

She’s done with performative green talk + $300 sweaters marketed as ethically enlightened.

She knows community is the oldest luxury we ever had.

She’s not waiting for the world to get better.

She’s building the alternative.

If this is you…
you’re one of us.

If you’re quick to judge, I hope you’ll pause + see this through someone else’s eyes. Ask yourself – who are we, as a country, if we turn our backs on those who need help most? Because you never know someday it might be you.

At one point in my life- it was me. When my husband passed away, our children were five + two years old, + I was left to raise them on my own. During that time, SNAP helped us get through + I’ll never be ashamed of that.

The majority of people who rely on SNAP aren’t lazy, or addicts, or “taking advantage” of the system. They are parents trying to feed their kids. Seniors stretching every dollar. They are people who are struggling in one form or another.

I built SHARE so clothing can be accessible to everyone- regardless of your tax bracket. I built it on the foundation of caring… for our environment + for each other… because caring is the most important currency we have.

To take away SNAP benefits from people isn’t leadership. It’s a disgrace. If that truth makes anyone want to unfollow me, I’m OK with that.

Check out my post in stories if you feel moved to help. I’ve created a link to our local food pantry + the greater Boston food pantry. Now more than ever our community needs our support.
