Sourdough peeps… 🍞 I just did something random. I normally just do like the 1st pan. This is my last rise. I did some cuts in 2nd loaf & braided the 3rd loaf. I feel like this is going to be a nailed it or failed it lol.

My starter is over 35 years old from my mama and a little different I feed it every 7-10 days. 🥄 Ya feed it sugar and potatoes let it sit out, then you mix with your discard, let that rise 7-10 hours, then place in 3 bread pans or whatever you want for another 7-10 hours. 👩‍🍳 So it’s a process, but I was wanting to play around with it. 🥖

I’ll post what they look like once they have risen in the morning & the final baked product… fingers crossed 🤞(at least 1 loaf will be good)

Today in church we started a new series. We discussed Jesus being the vine, God being the gardener, and the people being the branches.

I couldn’t help but think about gardens and how it all truly just fits. You can pray, love, and nurture your garden and see it become fruitful and how it’s such a miracle to witness.

Look at these pumpkins for example, you get your land ready, you plant the seed, then you see the plant, the vines, the flowers, the blooms, and then the fruit.

Praying they continue to grow and we can share with folks. There is so much beauty and unknown in gardening. You truly never know and things can change so we are just enjoying and admiring the process🧡
