This plane has been a fixture at the Crow Island Airpark (CIA) for decades. It’s a 1941 Piper J5 Cruzer, technically it’s a three seat Aircraft, however the two passengers in the backseat have to be very small or very friendly. It’s a beautiful Flying Aircraft, has been upgraded to a C 90. It’s a little wider and roomier than the J3. We are considering selling our J3 that’s used for training for something with a bit more room like the J5 to help accommodate larger pilots.
