Yesterday was a gift. 🩷

There was excitement around every corner.

“I feel so beautiful.” 🥹
“Oh, I LOVE this!”
“Lululemon!!”
“NIKE PRO!”

Girls finding pieces that made them light up. Moms getting to shop, too. Bags filling up. Lunches shared. And, we hope, each girl leaving feeling a little more confident, a little more seen, and very, very loved.

That’s what The Confidence Closet is about.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of serving 9 girls and 2 mommas with hundreds of jeans, tops, shorts, dresses, athleisure pieces, shoes, bras, pajamas and more—along with gift bags, boxed lunches and sweet treats. So much was given. But the greatest thing filling that room was love. 🩷

To every single person who helped make yesterday possible—thank you. To those who gave financially, donated clothing, shared resources, gave their time, prayed for these girls, or helped us fill a need: you were part of this day.

And a special thank you to Luke Clifton Manlove for the amazing boxed lunches, sweet treats, and the most beautiful flower arrangement that made the day feel even more special. 🩷

We may have given away a whole lot of clothes yesterday, but somehow we walked away feeling like we were the ones who received the gift.

Tomorrow is The Confidence Closet. 🤍

The clothes are sorted. The racks are ready. The flowers and food are coming. And tonight, we’re preparing our hearts.

Tomorrow, girls from our community will walk through our doors to shop for back-to-school wardrobes — and before they do, we’d love for you to join us in praying for them.

Pray that every girl who comes through our doors feels seen, loved, worthy and beautiful — not because of what she wears, but because of who God created her to be.

Pray for their families. For the circumstances and stories we may never know. For the parents, grandparents and caregivers who love them and are doing their very best.

Pray for me and Stacie — that God gives us the energy, wisdom and right words to love these girls well. That we know when someone needs encouragement, a listening ear, or simply a reminder of how beautiful she is.

And pray over every detail — that the right sizes and the right pieces somehow find the girls who need them. That needs are met. That conversations matter. And that what happens tomorrow reaches far beyond clothes.

We also want to say thank you to every person who has already poured into The Confidence Closet. Those who gave financially. Those who donated clothing. Those who are providing food and flowers. Those who gave their time, shared our posts, connected us with families, or simply said, “How can I help?”

You are part of this, too.

Our hope for The Confidence Closet has never simply been to give girls something new to wear. We want each one to leave knowing she is valuable, she is worthy of being cared for, and she can walk into this school year standing a little taller than when she came in.

So tonight, would you cover these girls, their families, and The Confidence Closet in prayer?

Tomorrow, we open the doors.

July stretched my faith in ways I didn’t expect.

There were moments that felt uncertain. Moments where fear was louder than faith. Moments when I wondered how everything was going to work out.

But then… God.

He reminded me that He’s always working behind the scenes, even when I can’t see it.

He provided in unexpected ways—a car repair that ended up being far less than we feared, 8 color analyses booked in just a few days, incredible community support for our upcoming Confidence Closet event, and even a sweet reminder that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

None of these moments happened by accident. They were reminders that God’s timing is always better than my own.

If you’re walking through a season of uncertainty, don’t lose hope. Hold on. Keep praying. Keep trusting.

You may not see what He’s doing today, but He is always working on behalf of those who love Him. ❤️
