Peaceful River Creations was born out of a love of people’s “creations”! We love handmade products and we love supporting other small businesses. Our store contains items from local artists and crafters, handmade products from around the world that we get through the Fair Trade Organization, and small business-made products from around the USA, especially the Midw
est. We believe in helping our friends and clients to live their best life. Stones, crystals, sage, salt lamps, and other items that aid in meditation and natural healing are also available. We believe that by working with nature and our body, we can keep ourselves healthy and strong. We also host classes to teach different modalities of health, mental wellness, and healing. We believe in being environmentally friendly. By having handmade products in the store, there is a reduced amount of packaging. We use only paper bags and we sell many reusable and recyclable items so that we can reduce our impact on our world. Shopping is fun, but shopping for a cause is so much better. Owners Sheila Bosworth and Kathy “Kit” Gleason met through a mutual acquaintance and became instant friends. We worked together to promote craft shows throughout the area until we opened our first store in 2007. Friends and “sisters” is a great way to do business! Marie is our full-time employee who is very knowledgeable about all the products in the store. We are proud to be woman-owned, veteran–owned, and a supporter of other small business.
