McChord Thrift Shop Non-Profit Thrift and Consignment Store, serving our local military community through welfare grants, scholarships, and volunteer opportunities.

The McChord Thrift Shop is a 501(c)4 non-profit run almost entirely by volunteers and a small paid staff. The Thrift Shop aims to give around $25,000 annually and all proceeds are distributed to the club to provide scholarships for Air Force family members, and to support various charities in our community. This past year we were excited to have been able to award $21,500 in scholarships! This wou

ld not have been possible if it had not been for our fantastic and faithful volunteers & wonderful customers. Not only can you find a bargain, but you can also make some extra cash for yourself by consigning items that you no longer need. 65% of the sales price is yours to keep and the other 35% goes to the Thrift Shop. Just think, you'll save the hassle of organizing a garage sale, clean out your clutter, and help provide scholarships to worthy individuals all at once!

Help us clear out some overflow and grab some free stuff from our dock! Free items are on the near side of the store to Adventures Unlimited next to our main entry. All applicable items are marked with a FREE sign.

Do not remove any other items from thrift shop property, as this is considered theft. All items are first come, first served. No items will be held. Updates on item availability will not happen regularly. Our dock is video monitored 24/7.

Been having a hard time getting an appointment since we book up so quickly? Our volunteers don't need an appointment to consign, and receive other consignment benefits (like increased floor time and higher payout rates)! The highlight of our year is when we get to give deserving military dependents funds for their education! This year the McChord Thrift Shop awarded 12 students a total of $24,000.

The support of our JBLM community is what enables us to do this, whether that's through volunteering, shopping, or donating. Thank you for another great year!
