Machine embroidery vs. hand embroidery… so which one is better?
Honestly? Neither. They’re just different crafts that require different skills🤍
Machine embroidery gives you a clean, consistent finish and is perfect for certain designs, especially when you want precision, repetition, or a more structured look. And fast turn around time.
Hand embroidery has a completely different feel. Every stitch is placed by hand, giving each piece its own character and that unmistakable handmade touch.
I love offering both in my business because sometimes the design calls for the precision of a machine, and sometimes it deserves the time and artistry of hand embroidery. With this in mind, a little over a year ago I asked a friend, Jessica with The Southern Stitch to help develop an extension of Little Joy Threads that allows us to collaborate and offer you options that fill your preferences!
