In my defense…my full time job involves me filming and editing content nonstop, so weekend/free time content creation is an afterthought. 🫣

But I made this duffle bag for a birthday gift for one of my favorite littles, and I’m so happy with how it turned out! Probably going to make her a little laundry bag to pair with it.

Challenge: Make a duffle bag and matching purse for a preschooler. 🥹

It went decently well, specifically after I switched my duffle bag pattern out. That first pattern was super confusing, so shoutout to YouTube tutorials/video blogs!

I’m already ready to try it again with a slightly thicker lining, but I’ll give my fingers and brain a small rest for now.

So thankful for this sewing journey! 🧵

The self-taught sewing journey is going well! I’ve thrifted 80% of my supplies, but there are a few things I still need to grab.

A snow globe probably isn’t the best option? I also probably shouldn’t use my preserved wedding bouquet either. 🫣

Anyways, off to sew a duffle bag for the first time! Wish me luck.

Starting to accept the reality that you must treat craft stores like grocery stores. If you don’t go in with a list, the shelves will tell you what you need.

Either way, this is still my favorite local spot to get vinyl!
