Early July update.
Look at how
Cool season plants are finished or finishing. Some plants need a nother planting because the heat of last week caused them to flower. Garlic is harvested, onions and potatoes are slowly getting harvested for now. That opens beds for second plantings and some firsts of the season.
The bugs are definitely trying my patience but I'm not letting them win this year.
So, 🍻 cheers to July! May the garden keep providing and all mosquitos get eaten by bats.

I get so caught up in the growing of the plants, the seeding, cultivating, the fighting bugs. I forgot to stop and just how we are.
🥕 Farmers don't just grow food, we create environments for that food to grow in. So, when you tell us just how beautiful our veggies are, it means so much. Trust that when you buy from this you're getting veggies grown in soil that's been cared for and plants that have been tended to from seed to harvest.

Just some pictures of what's growing!🌱 We're about halfway through our first round of plantings, should be complete in the next few weeks. The rain has definitely slowed us down a bit, but we're getting out in between rains.
Market season will be starting next week!

🥬 the 1st and 3rd Saturdays starting June 6th from 9am till noon

💐 for BYOB (Build Your Own Bouquet) BIWEEKLY Wednesdays starting June 17th from 5:30pm till 9pm

🍅 Prairie Township Farmers Market Mondays starting June 22nd from 4pm-7pm

We're also hoping to have some on farm days with a setup for you to get some local fresh produce and more.
