Made it through 50mi of the Route 29 100mi yard sale yesterday. Loaded the truck and trailer down with some great items, drove around for over 12 hours, picked for over 5 hours, and had the BEST time.

This is one of the best events in Virginia and it’s going on every day until Sunday this weekend. There’s so many great antique stores along the way to stop at too! Stay tuned for a loot shoot later when I come out of my picking hangover. 😅

Long time no post! I’m still here, buying and selling, although more buying lately than I’ve wanted to sell… 🤣 Also buying furniture that’s entirely too big for my house and making my husband furious when he sees it in person and has to move it. 😬

I also tripped carrying it up the steps into the house, it landed on my leg and almost flipped over the railing. Because of its sheer size and weight, I refuse to move it out of the house if we ever move.

But it was totally worth it. I’m not sure where exactly, but it was a piece from an old general store, which makes me love it even more!
