A few more caps I made today. Uncle Benny’s Boutique is back and I’m making surgical caps for people who want to cover their hair while working in the Hot Zone. In addition to protecting the Corona virus from attaching to your hair, they are also helpful in keeping your hair from getting caught in the elastic of the N95s or caught in the CAPR helmets.

Caps are $7 each and made to order! They are machine washable but hang dry. Message me for more details on sizing and fabric if you’re interested. I also have a lot of masculine fabrics, blues, greys, greens and blacks. I accept Venmo, PayPal and Cash. I will also mail to you.

*Surgical Caps for Long and Thick Hair*

We upped our game today at the boutique. I have a friend with super long and thick hair ask if I could make her a cap. There is no way my standard surgical cap would fit all of her hair so I went looking for a pattern and found this one. I’m so pleased with how this turned out and it was fun to make! There’s plenty of room for A LOT of hair. I’m charging $10 for this style of cap. Message me for fabrics if interested.

I can sew more than just masks. I’ve made a couple of quilts with my mom over the last couple of years. This weekend I am proud to say that I made this simple Stack and Flip strip quilt from 2 jelly rolls all by myself!
