I learned the hard way not to cave into every design request. A client makes. Now I have the opportunity to re-create this account into everything I wanted it to be. I counted such a blessing. The rest of the Storie is coming.
Wow! The outpouring and love and support after such a challenging client has been unreal. I definitely am working hard to finish editing the rest of this story. But there is so much to tell and I am still trying to be very mindful to do it in a way that is respectful and kind.
if you are one of my incredible brides that is interested in winning this gown, please reach out again. I will have my local brides in to try on the gown to make sure they like how it looks on their body. If you were an out-of-town Bride don’t worry. I haven’t forgot about you. I will be setting up FaceTime calls to do a virtual try on and measurements.

We all have challenging people in our lives. We cannot control how they behave but we can control how we react to them.
I came to the conclusion that I actually did not need to tell my side of the story, my people know who I am.
It definitely was tempting. It was tempting to reveal all that actually happened. But when you surround yourself with incredible people like I do, incredible clients, incredible friends, and incredible family, who have your back and truly know who you are and truly know what actually happened, There’s really no need to do anything further except continue to put goodness into the world.
And that is exactly what I intend to do. I will re-create this gown into everything I had suggested. And let me tell you it is stunning. I cannot wait to reveal how this gown turned out. And at the end of all of this, I will be giving this gown away to a deserving bride as a gift. ‼️Wedding Dress giveaway‼️
Last year I had created a custom gown for a real life bride that decided not to wear it for her wedding day. I am going to take you through the process of how I removed the request that she made that I advise against. Please follow along as I re-create this gown to fit my aesthetic.
I am so excited to take you through this journey, and also to be able to inform brides who are looking for a custom gown when not to choose me as you Designer. Custom gowns truly are not for everyone. And I will be discussing a little bit of when a custom gown is right for you and when you should avoid it. ⚠️ Gown giveaway day 2⚠️
This gown had been sitting in my boutique for months and had legally been considered abandoned. I thought it was time to breathe some new life into this beautiful creation.
However, before I give this gown away, we are going to make a couple changes. When originally creating this gown I had been requested to not have any seams shown in this design. Due to that request, I needed to utilize an overlay technique. Unfortunately, this Bride kept on requesting more and more layers of overlayed textured fabric, which can lead the gown looking a little bulky. I had advised against those request and now we have the opportunity to remove those request and redesigned the gown how I had originally suggested. In the next videos, you’ll see me tear down this gown, so it can be redesigned into a flawless final look.
