One day my husband came home from work and told me he wanted his garage back! So I decided to open a little shop and continue to do my hobby. I couldn't see giving it up! I opened and quickly out grew the space I was in. I then found a larger location, one where I could have a work space, a classroom, a showroom and space for others to sell their precious works. Vintage Market of Fort Myers has it

all. It offers custom furniture painting, workshops for learning to paint your own furniture, showroom full of repurposed and painted furniture, home decor,antiques, collectables and local artists selling their treasures. That is how Time Gone By became The Vintage Market of Fort Myers. We have since rebranded to Pickin' Boots Vintage.

Well… this wasn’t on today’s DIY project list. 😂🐍

Apparently I’m adding snake rescue to my skill set.

This little guy got himself completely tangled in the garden netting, so I carefully cut him free. Once every last piece was off, he slithered away to live another day.

No paint. No glue. No moulds. Just me, a pair of scissors and a snake who made some questionable life choices. 😂

Never a dull moment around here!
