Wednesday and I want to talk about something that matters a lot to me β the power of knowing what you're good at AND knowing when to ask for help. βπ
I love making things. I am genuinely good at laser engraving, UV printing, 3D printing, sublimation. I can sew a little. But "a little" was not going to be enough for what the cruise door project needed at the finish line.
So I reached out to 's Closet β a wonderful fellow maker and seamstress β and asked for her help.
She made:
π Individual bags for each of the six cruise door decoration pieces β perfectly sized and beautifully finished
π A larger drawstring bag to carry all six together with the remote and extra batteries
The result? A complete set that looks polished, professional, and absolutely ready to sail. π’
This is what the maker community is supposed to look like β filling each other's gaps, supporting each other's skills, making each other's work better. No one person has to be good at everything. That's what community is for. π
If you need any sewing work done please go check out Gammy's Closet β she is talented and wonderful and deserves every bit of your support!!
