⛳️🏌🏾♂️ Tierra del Sol: Beauty That Demands Your Best
I’ve had the privilege of playing some beautiful golf courses over the years, but I must admit that Tierra del Sol Golf Course in Aruba may be one of the prettiest—and most challenging—I’ve ever played.
The views are absolutely breathtaking. Standing on the tee box with the turquoise Caribbean Sea stretching across the horizon, it’s hard to focus on your golf ball because the scenery keeps stealing your attention. Every hole feels like a postcard.
But don’t let the beauty fool you.
The Robert Trent Jones II design will test every part of your game. Strategic bunkering, demanding angles, and greens that require precision make you think your way around the course. And then there’s the wind! At times it felt like a two-club wind, forcing constant adjustments and reminding you that golf is as much about patience and strategy as it is about skill.
I came away thoroughly impressed—not only by the course itself, but by the entire experience. It’s the kind of place that challenges you, humbles you, and leaves you wanting another crack at it before you even walk off the 18th green.
Lord willing, I hope to tee it up there again someday.
