Smith & Routt Cleaner Memphis Best (in our opinion, anyway!) Established in 1939 so we must be doing something right. We offer environmental friendly cleaning and laundry services!

Come out and give us a try! We are a Certified Environmental Dry Cleaner. We use a safe hydrocarbon solvent; the same type of hydrocarbons used in waterless hand-sanitizer. We operate start of the art equipment which includes a dry cleaning system that keeps 100% of all solvents and gases from escaping into the atmosphere. We also use an advanced filtration process to recycle our solvents so there

is less waste. All cleaning done in house. Family owned and operated. We specialize in articles of clothing to include wedding dresses, evening gowns, table linens, sheets, kid's christening gowns and other delicate items. Same day service before 8am. W also do alterations. History

Established in 1939. Originally founded by Mr. Smith and Mr Routt whom later sold the business to his loyal employee and later again sold to the current owners and family. Although the business has changed ownership several times through the decades, excellent service to our loyal customers has kept us a striving family owned business.

Customer service experience wanted!
Greet customers, take in and organize clothes, retrieve ready orders, handle computer system and register, clean common areas, and other duties. Must dress appropriately. If interested, please apply or come by and write a paper application. Afternoon shift but hours are flexible.
