How it started—- and how it ended. 🤍

Today I symbolically wore the same T-shirt I wore when I first bought the shop(on the last official day of operations)

I used to work so hard that I ate & sometimes slept in the back stock room… and today felt very much like the early days. I ate breakfast, lunch, & dinner in this same stock room today.

Thank you for all the love, gifts, & hugs, Memphis.

I will FOREVER be grateful for this entire experience.

It’s been an honor. 🙏🏻

🚨CONVICTED🚨
(I can FINALLY tell the truth)

ELIZABETH ROSE AULT in Memphis

has been convicted after she stole a CLASS D Felony amount of merchandise from my store creating severe damage to our online operations, inventory, accounting, & ultimately rendering our store Ivory Closet damaged beyond repair.

We survived a global pandemic- and ELIZABETH ROSE AULT intentionally destroyed my business from the inside.

Elizabeth wasn’t just a former employee- I was her mentor, she babysat my children, called me for life advice, & I even went to the U of M with her as her guardian figure to speak with campus police to ensure her safety after she told me about a harassment issue. Elizabeth told me she looked to me as a mother figure- and I genuine gave her my best to help her thrive.

She went so far as to call and console me when I began to recognize the amount and consistency that was being stolen from us- “I’m so sorry, Jen. I can’t believe anyone would do something this horrible to you & Mike. You’re such good people”.

Believing something so calculated and cold was beyond her, I confided in her that whoever was stealing from us was taking the business down- I said “We’ve survived a global pandemic, but we won’t be able to survive whoever is doing this.”

She was there with me while I sobbed.

And👏🏻she👏🏻kept👏🏻stealing👏🏻from👏🏻me

⭐️Not only this- she FRAMED a black employee for her thefts.

Her jail sentence? ZERO.

The District Attorney’s office told me she’s getting, and I QUOTE, a “FREEBEE” since it was her first offense. So, if you’re wondering why I cold quit operating my business in Memphis- it’s because a real life psychopath can come in, rob me blind, & intentionally try to destroy our operation and get a “FREEBEE”.

This woman is only getting ONE YEAR of probation* and a corrective class for DESTROYING YEARS of my hard work.
