Unusual donations came in this week. 2 dragonfly lamps valued at $845 each. We are firm in $100 each

Tiffany style lamp valued at $270 we are firm at $75

Native American deco some signed. If a collector you will want to stop in and browse the collection.

Marion Quintana and Bianca Madera brought a generous donation for the Nightengales Thrift Shop matching fund for the repairs of th Mendota city pool. They collected donations at the 5th year of free back to school haircuts for kids Saturday at Expressions Salon in Mendota. The other volunteer stylists giving 96 free haircuts were Brittany Stockell, John Angelo, Selina Hernandez, and Eddie Batista. We appreciate your support for keeping the pool available to the people of Mendota!

Lily Weathers is making a generous donation to the Nightengales matching funds collection for the repairs of the Mendota Swimming Pool from her great grandmother Judy Kerns and her grandmother Marcie Kerns Lilly is the daughter of Emily Sanchez and the fourth generation in her family to swim in the Mendota pool. Lily returns to Mendota to visit great grandma Judy and was disappointed the pool wasn’t open. She is counting on enjoying the pool next summer!!

Thanks go to the many participants in the Vacation Bible School sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran, First Presbyterian, Zion Methodist and 1st United Methodist churches They chose to donate their weeks collection to the Nightengales Thrift Shop matching fund for the repairs of the Mendota City Pool.
