This piece brightened up the runway recently in Menlo Park. I designed this print to represent California (the poppy is the CA state flower) and Bette with a signature bright color.

I could not be happier with how this piece turned out. I’ve heard from so many of you about how you’re wearing (and loving) this piece on your summer vacations in Europe and here at home.

Fun fact: The original flower color was a darker red. It turned into this tropical (more appropriate) color when it was printed on the viscose fabric. Some things are just meant to be.

Another look from the fashion show supporting Americares this weekend. This design and print were inspired by how the ocean looks and feels when it moves.

When the piece was done, I realized the print also reminded me of a topographic map of the mountains. I love the dual meaning of this California-inspired print. 🌊⛰️
