SURVIVOR. Yesterday was the last infusion. 1 year of sitting in this chair. 2 rounds of chemo. 3 surgeries/ 3 to go. Several hospital stays. Infections. Complications. Exhaustion. Fatigue. Edema. Pain. Cancer is no joke. It took my hair. My breasts. My body. My mind (Chemo brain is real). But it did not take my life, my resilience, my inner strength nor my will to get through this. My prayers to anyone with a cancer diagnosis. It stinks. And my love and thanks to those special people who got me through mine. You know who you are, especially I am so thankful for you all. 💗💓
