Today, we lay our yázhí Karson to rest. Journey well sweet baby.

Karson’s mother Catharina is currently recovering from her injuries she sustained from the Kayenta light parade tragedy. Her recovery will be long and difficult as she has sustained multiple injuries from the accident.

Karson’s GoFundMe will remain open until Sunday, January 4, 2026.

GOFUNDME UPDATE:
As of right now, many may be wondering about services for baby Karson. Please know that meetings are still taking place, but no date has been set yet. With the holidays just ending and the New Year approaching, things have been understandably delayed.

Karson’s mother Catharina and his grandpa Nelson are still in recovery. While life continues and bills still need to be paid, for this family, time has truly stood still. They are facing overwhelming emotions and are making difficult decisions at this time.

The GoFundMe will remain open for another week. I want to be very clear that all donations are going directly to the family to help support them financially during this incredibly difficult time, as everyone is still in the process of healing.

Thank you for your continued love, patience, and support. It truly means more than words can say.

📢 ♾️ Autism Awareness Month

Shout to parents who are doing their best to advocate for their child/ children.

Healthcare workers, school personnel, etc. don’t make it easy. Advocating can be difficult no one really prepares you for this journey. Know that speaking up makes a difference.

Sadly, most of us are advocating for the most “basic” needs for our children. School accommodation, diagnosis, etc.

Parents should be met with empathy, understanding, & compassion working toward a solution for the child(ren).
