Tonight's Cactus Noir case took a slightly uncomfortable turn.

The tuxedo cat looked directly at us.

Then the Great Dane detective looked directly at us.

And the band?

They just kept playing.

So either we witnessed something...

or we are now officially part of the investigation. 😂

Our newest Cactus Noir episode brings moody desert jazz, cool swing, candlelight, suspicious pets, and another mystery that is absolutely not getting solved efficiently.

🤠 The Great Dane is looking directly at you.

Which means he probably already knows who started it.

Our newest Wh***ey, Whiskers & Wagging Tails episode brings us back inside The Dane Lounge, where the band is rocking, the pets have filled the room, the cats are claiming complete innocence, and one very observant Great Dane is keeping track of the entire situation from behind the bar.

Tigger likes belly rubs this much.
We’re pretty sure he was asleep. 😂

One paw up. Belly exposed. Request submitted. Apparently the belly-rub department never closes around here.

Another very real moment from our rescue-home archives. 🐾

Another completely normal Thursday at The Swinging Cat Shelter.

The grey tabby is playing clarinet.

The black Maine C**n is holding down the upright bass.

The Great Dane is working the bar.

The crowd is relaxed.

And the red heeler at the door appears to have spotted something outside.

Nobody panic.

Actually, nobody even stopped playing. 😂

Wednesday called a staff meeting. We hired a heeler with a saxophone instead. ☕🎷

Our October 7 Groovy Midweek Reset takes you into a Tucson-inspired retro coffee shop with a tuxedo cat on trombone, a Great Dane behind the bar, and lounge regulars who have perfected looking busy from a comfortable chair.

Put on some upbeat instrumental swing jazz, pour your coffee, and take a break with your pets nearby.

Find Coffee, Brass & Questionable Management in the Groovy Midweek Reset | The Dane Lounge playlist. Subscribe for weekly jazz and suspicious cat behavior.

Which employee deserves a raise: the heeler, the cat, or the Dane doing the cleanup?

The view is gorgeous.

🐾🌧️ Apparently Monday has become a full project-management exercise.

Furry management has launched:

OPERATION: A MORE PAWESOME LIFE

The Great Dane is reviewing the schedule.

The tuxedo cat appears to have written it.

Current priorities:

🐾 Morning Zoomies
☕ Supervise Humans
🦴 Snack Research
🐦 Bird Watching
💤 Nap — Critical
🌧️ Monsoon Monitoring
❤️ Treat Negotiations
❤️ Cuddle Time
🌎 World Domination — Phase 1

Everything looked perfectly reasonable right up until that last one. 😂
