Tutorial:

Step 1: Place a plain square in the center and surround it with colored squares.
Step 2: Add green squares to the four outer corners to act as leaves.
Step 3: Draw diagonal lines on small background squares and place them on the corners.
Step 4: Sew along the drawn lines and cut off the extra fabric to shape the petals.
Step 5: Sew all the rows together and add white borders to finish the block.

Tutorial:

Step 1: Choose two charm packs with five inch squares.
Step 2: Lay your squares out in a diamond pattern instead of straight rows.
Step 3: Sew your squares into diagonal rows.
Step 4: Add large triangles to the ends of the rows to make the edges straight.
Step 5: Sew the diagonal rows together and trim the excess fabric.
