We know you may be starting to hear the term more frequently "SLOW FASHION" which is honestly SO great! But what does it mean? How can you incorporate it into your normal life when FAST fashion is so convenient?
We understand that life, time, and money rule us these days, and ready made, manufactured overseas in bulk pieces can be so convenient and cost efficient for us, but its also ruled by the mindset that we need EVERYTHING, RIGHT NOW, ALL THE TIME. We have be trained to constantly want something new so that we constantly need to spend our money with huge companies who pay pennies to have these pieces made.
ππ‘π€π¬ πππ¨πππ€π£ is about a more mindful shopping experience. It's about handmade pieces that were thoughtfully and mindfully made for you. Pieces that that can be worn as timeless staples. Things that you LOVE. not just impulse buy. Choosing things that are more well made and will last so that you don't need to replace and replenish as often. Things that may be a little more sustainably sourced.
The π’ππ¨ππ€π£πππ₯π©ππ€π£...
We also are fed that in order to be more sustainable that we MUST only buy second hand and ONLY buy organic, and be 100% engulfed in the GREEN life... here's the thing... be MORE sustainable is about starting where you are! Making maybe a small choice here and there to just at least tiptoe in the right direction! A little bit by most people... together equals A LOT. Thats why we are trying to be more MINDFUL as a business and as consumers. It's not that we feel the need to go completely green or completely organic overnight, but to start adding a more MINDFUL touch and just start THINKING about how to just be better!
So in summary Slow Fashion is about simply being more mindful and taking the time to think about your purchases and maybe just buying more purposeful items! And handmase is ALWAYS a plus! It will be made for YOU specifically and therefore have more purpose and a better longer lasting fit and can be staple pieces that you absolutely LOVE!
