This is because I'm the only person working here and I respect my customers who have made appointments and want to give them the attention that they need in order to make sure they have a good experience. For those of you that need stuff for back to school, please keep in mind that weddings are still in the peak season. I am also closed on Labor Day weekend (Sat-Mon). Please plan ahead and book your appointment early to get your alterations back before school starts.

Just a reminder that I'll be closed Fri, 7/31 through Mon, 8/3. I reopen for customers on 8/4. However, I will be coming back from my trip on Sunday with Krispy Kremes to sponsor Lakeside All-Age Winterguard. They are $14 for a dozen Original glazed and $13 for a box of 6 chocolate iced, raspberry filled, lemon filled or cream filled. The bags of ground coffee (Reg or decaf) are $12. Let me know if you need to place an order!

Every day that passes, there are little old ladies out there that decide it's time for them to retire from doing alterations. That leaves less people to do the work for everyone! Generally, people are no longer going into working in this trade. My business has grown to the point where I can barely handle the amount of work that's coming in and I really can't hire anyone. Please be patient. I'm only one person doing the work of many. I work at least 12-14 hours per day and barely get sleep. I can't do more than I already am. I have reached the point of exhaustion but I keep pushing myself to go further. Sometimes my best isn't good enough and that really does bother me more than you know!
