📣📣IMPORTANT UPDATE📣📣
I want to take a moment to address something that has recently come to my attention. Many of the custom designs I create take hours — sometimes days — of work, thought, and revision. (I’ve been up until 2-3 am while the rest of my house is sleeping, editing and working on files) These designs are made specifically for you, and I put a great deal of time, skill, and resources into bringing them to life.
I do this because I enjoy it, not because it’s my livelihood, and I keep my prices as low as I possibly can and will absolutely work with you for discounts on orders when I can!!
However, when custom designs I’ve poured hours into are taken elsewhere to be made, it directly impacts the time, effort, and resources I dedicate to this work.
Because of this, I feel I need to be transparent moving forward: I MAY begin charging a SMALL custom design fee in situations where I am creating a design completely from scratch, or significantly reworking an existing idea into a unique version of my own. This fee would only apply to design time — not the cost of the finished shirt — and would be clearly communicated before any work begins. This fee will be based off of the complexity of the design and again, WILL BE MENTIONED WHEN YOU FIRST MESSAGE ME ABOUT AN IDEA AND MAY NOT APPLY AT ALL DEPENDING ON WHAT YOUR REQUESTING
If for some reason you want me to create a design that another shirt shop cannot create, and take my design there, I will gladly create it for you for a fee of $50.
My designs will now also come sent to you for preview with my custom watermark on them which will be removed at the time of printing the decal for the shirt.
I truly hate to implement something like this, but as a very small business, it has become necessary. I work a full‑time job, and the time I spend designing is done in the evenings — time I divide between spending quality time with my children and their activities, time with my husband while we work on our dream property, creating shirts, and producing artwork for all of you. I also invest in high‑quality software, equipment, and materials to ensure you receive the best products possible.
