Leave it to shopaholic me to fall into a career that primarily focuses on……S H O P P I N G. 🛍️

The love of clothes is undoubtedly in my DNA, the moment I could drive I got a job at The Gap with the sole purpose of burning my paycheck on my employee discount 🙃 After 14 years in this business, the love of fashion ain’t going anywhere; HOWEVER, this summer it hit me quite hard, all the NEW NEW NEW, BUY THIS, YOU NEED THAT started to feel like…too much.

Too much stuff.
Too much clutter.
Too much noise.

My closet felt cluttered. My house felt cluttered. And honestly? My brain did too. So this summer I started changing the way I shop, what I keep, what I share with you guys, and surprisingly, it’s made me love my job even more than I already did.

Hair How To…..quite a few requests for how I’ve been styling my hair lately……I’m sure my “technique” makes my hair stylist wince and cringe B U T it’s an easy breezy approach and works for me even when short on time! Comment HAIR for links to my must haves—including my hair supplement that has my hair growing like a w**d. Jotting down the steps below:

• After shampooing, spray with COLOR WOW
• i TRY to let my hair air dry when time permits
• once dry, spray with heat protectant
• using the Dyson/round brush attachment—-smooth out hair (I section into 2-3 sections)
• while section is still hot, roll with Velcro roller and secure (I’m lazy and only do my top layer)
• let set/cool—typically I do makeup and let the hair cool off
• remove rollers and add a few bendy waves with the 1.5” Bio Ionic ® curler
• I spray texturizing spray on my fingers and tossle throughout my hair…focusing on the roots
