This is Seventeen.
The summer before your Senior Year. A big one, Cambi.
It’s funny… we were talking the other day, and I told you that because I’ve done this before, I thought I was prepared for another last year in the nest. But I’m realizing this one may sneak up on me in ways I never expected. One year suddenly doesn’t feel like enough.
But I also know this is one of the most exciting, challenging, transformative years of your life. A year filled with big decisions, new adventures, and so much growth. I can’t wait to watch you continue to evolve, discover who you are, and find the place that’s meant for you.
You’ve already made me prouder than words could ever express. Hearing the beginning of your college essay last week stopped me in my tracks. Your self-awareness, reflection, vulnerability and heart shine through in every sentence. It reminded me that while I still see that spunky little girl with cinny buns, clip on earrings, and hello kitty ballet flats……the world now gets to see the remarkable young woman you’ve become.
So here’s to soaking up summer , college visits, late-night talks, senior traditions, and enjoying every ordinary moment in between. I’ll be cheering you on through every single one. Love you, bone.

Summer is off to a running start ☀️✨

We moved Chase to LA for her summer internship, watched Calvin and his teammates bring home a championship, and somehow found ourselves staring down Campbell’s senior year 🥹

One season is beginning while another quietly closes. As exciting as it all is, I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t tug at my heart a little.

The years are moving faster than I’d like, but watching these three grow into exactly who they’re meant to be is the ultimate blessing!

Feeling emotional, excited, proud… and incredibly grateful for all of it. ☀️❤️ And I appreciate y’all being along for the ride!!! Happy Summer, Gang! Xx

7 years and it’s still my most treasured item in my closet. Here’s your sign to grab a bag, a pair of jeans, or a canvas….some ACRYLIC PAINT and paint brushes—-and let your little Picasso go to town!! Several asked if I sealed this bag (which I got in Italy for my 40th) and while I could have—-I didn’t! Happy Painting 🎨✨🫶🏻 be sure to share your masterpieces with me once complete!

PS: Lauren Dusing this was def our best project 🎨🫶🏻✨
