When the garage transformation turns out wonderfully!

This beautiful family hosts a lot of community and family members on a weekly basis, not to mention the holidays. Having their hosting materials, backstock and home maintenance items clearly identifiable and easy to reach was very important.

After lots of sorting, decluttering and downsizing, we were able to organize everything they need into a good system, and clear the floors, which was a win in itself! We also made sure to place their bikes on a standalone rack, since there’s renovation plans coming soon, and some of the walls will be coming down. Planning for the renovation was a big factor in the plans as well.

My favorite part of this work is not the labels or containers. It’s hearing clients say: “I feel lighter.”

Because usually by the time someone hires my team and I, they’ve been carrying the mental weight of their home for a very long time.

Creating functional systems absolutely matters. But helping someone feel supported, understood, and relieved matters just as much.

School is in session, and with it comes the daily rush of backpacks, shoes, lunchboxes, and everything in between.
