She graduated from the Superior Institute of Design (ISDI) in Havana. After graduating she worked as a freelance illustrator and fashion designer for many institutions. Liudmila Rosario Ponko participated in different cultural events “Havana Bienal” Cuba, 2006; “Art and fashion”, 2005 Edition; Finalist of “Mittelmoda fashion Award” Milan Italy 2005. In 2007, she moved to Miami and created the new

Label “PONKO” where she uses her experience as a Designer/Illustrator to customize shoes and clothes.
