Lucy Tran Collection Clothing for that feminine, yet strong fashionista She is named Lucy Tran because my dad always wanted to name me Lucy and my mom's maiden name is Tran.

Together, she is an homage to my parents and everything they have ever done for me. Lucy Tran is all about that feminine, yet strong fashionista which is illustrated by the juxtaposition of the soft laces and structured outerwear. I'm inspired by everything around me to create pieces for Lucy Tran. Simple things like the way the sun kisses a flower inspire me to create the flowy chiffon gowns and

lacy tops. If anything inspires me, I'll sketch it. Fashion is a beautiful thing because it is a mode of self expression. It warms my heart knowing that a single piece of fabric can make anyone feel beautiful if draped the right way. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Lucy Tran is my dream. I have always loved fashion and aspire to be a fashion designer after I graduate from Pharmacy School. For now, I will create and display my fashions on the runways of the University of Florida. Lucy Tran started off as Totally Made by Mary Designs back when I was in the 7th grade. I hated how every girl had the same exact handbag, so I created my own. Soon enough, everyone wanted one, so I started my own business. School became progressively busier, so TMBM retired and Lucy Tran emerged my freshman year of college. Stay tuned for a Spring 2013 fashion show at the Reitz Grand Ballroom this October and a new line of affordable casual wear ready for you all to purchase!
