Interrupt this episode of to remind you that We are still here. Vice City Vibes is still active and still offering some of the best service in town.
Most favorite part of starting this project is having the flexity to open & close doors when necessary. No worries, blinds pulled partly but still here just focusing on family sometimes. Without them we would be nowhere. Thank you for respecting a little time away to focus on my #1 priority. I love you all and hope you got a chance to reflect on
It was a day with family well spent and intense ideation. I've been so busy with so many things behind the scenes I didn't post on the actual holiday. Life happens off the gram. It's important to celebrate a makeup National holiday, that inadvertently makes you feel good but truth is...why do we get just ONE day out of 365 days when not only do we work harder than not just men or any other gender, hands down, we are stronger than any social class, political party, and stronger than this worldwide pandemic of the coronavirus. We carry babies, birth them, raise them, told not to be one and yet society has expected us to be mami with a white picket fence, in suburbia, a happy husband, 2.5 kids, a dog, a cat & still have supper ready from scratch plus all clean laundry folded, pressed and folded away and still look like a superstar.
WELL. NOT. I.
OK for those who want that life, but not everyone wants that.
Plenty of my family and friends chose that. Not my choice. Everyone's priorities are wired a little differently.
There's whole new world out there for us. Regardless of the path we choose. We have the freedom of choice.
Regardless of gender, equality, neutrality. I celebrate women's day each day I wake up and fortunate to live a new day. I'm healthy, have a loving fam. It's all a mindset about the kind of day you have. You can set the tone and grab it by the horns. Everyday is what you make of it.
Let's get it, my family. My friends. My foes.
